Are you a member?

Your children need you to be their voice and their support.  To accomplish this, become a PTA member.  For those who don't know what PTA is, it is the Parent Teacher Association.  PTA serves as a place where parents, teachers, administrators and other concerned adults discuss ways to promote quality education, strive to expand the arts, encourage community involvement, and work for healthy environment and safe neighborhoods.

Northwood PTA is starting this years PTA Membership Drive.  The drive ends on November 5, 2013.  Each membership costs $10.00 per person.  We are requesting an additional donation if you are able to do so.  There will be a friendly competition between classrooms.  The competition will be divided into two groups: K-2nd & 3rd-5th.  The winners will have a Tropical Float party at the end of the drive.

Your membership and involvement help support your child and our school.  Attached you will find a membership envelope.  Please fill out the envelope completely so that the right child & classroom get the credit.  Enclose membership fees & donation (cash or check) for each person that would like to become a member and turn it in to your child’s teacher.  Remember this is tax deductible.  Please make checks payable to “Northwood PTA”.
